No hero can go for long without a villain, and it looks like this film is no exception.
Academy Award Nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave) is reportedly set to star in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Doctor Strange as Baron Mordo
Baron Mordo happens to be the main villain of Doctor Strange from the Marvel Comics. Mordo has constantly plagued the Sorcerer Supreme countless times over the years. However, these very same reports also willingly suggest that Ejiofor might not be playing an outright villain to the Benedict Cumberbatch starring film. Rather, his big-screen rendition will reportedly be a blend of several other characters from the Doctor Strange mythology.
The role has yet to be confirmed by Marvel, but with multiple sources such as Variety and Deadline already confirming this through their sources, it's only a matter of time before the announcement enlightens us all.
Currently, Doctor Strange is set for a November 4th, 2016 release date, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the title character, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron mordo.
